There are plenty of opportunitues to do a lot of water sports in Croatia - specially around the Trogir and Ciovo area. There are many different options to get out on the water. You can rent jet-skis, catamarans and boats - or what about a parasailing trip?
At MAX, which is a rental shop in Okrug Gornji Beach or at Space-Fun, situated on the mainland around 10 km from the apartment, you have pretty much the opportunity to rent whatever you want. Take a look at their websites and see if there is something for you.
You can River raft on the river Cetina close to Omnis.
Omnis is situated approx. 25 km south of split, to get there it would be best to have a car, so you decide when to go there and when you wants to return, but for reason of trafic an tourist it is advisible to leave as early as possible in the day to awoid rush hour.
Take a look at Huck Finn tp see if it could be something for you. They also offer many other activies like canoeing, kayaking or various bicycle tours and mountain climbing in the area of Cetina.
From the small harbour at Okrug Gornji Beach, where you can sail to Trogir by water taxi - it is also possible to speed-water-taxi, it cost a little more than the regular water taxi - but it is worth every penny.
