Krka Waterfalls
There are 8 national parks in Croatia. 4 of them are located in mountains and 4 of them located in coastal areas. It is also an abundance of natural parks which are also worth a visit. Take a look at Dalmatian Coast or Visit Croatia, both sites give a beautiful description of the different parks - there's everything from big grandiose waterfalls near Šibenik to large green parks in the mountains.
You've probably heard about Plitvice Lakes - it is an incredibly beautiful area that you should not miss - it lies near the border with Bosnia Herzegovina - approx. 230 km from Trogir. If you think it's too far to drive, you can take KRKA Waterfalls at Šibenik - they are definitely worth a visit and there are only approx. 40 km to Šibenik.
