International rules MUST be respected

Contact the local tourist office or local diving club before you dive.

Note!

There is also ample opportunity to explore the Adriatic under the surface. On the south side of Ciovo, not very far from the coast there are lot of obvious places where you can dive and see some of Central Dalmatia's most beautiful places underwater.

You can enjoy the beautiful colors, corals, caves and wrecks in the crystal clear waters. You have the opportunity to see sharks, lobsters, squid and many other kinds of sea creatures.

Try visit Trogir Diving Center, to see what else you can see below the surface - they have a nice website with a really nice photo gallery and information about the area and prices. You can see what it costs to dive and rent equipment if you do not have your own equipment. They also offer courses if this is your first time diving.

Of course there's also ample opportunity to snorkel in the clear water if you do not have the courage or desire to dive with a bottle. Since the water is crystal clear and the beaches located along the cliffs ithere s a good chance to get a fantastic experience even without the large equipment.

Remember, if you dive with a bottle, you must have an international diving certificate and all international rules must be respected.

In Croatia, you must contact the local tourist office or the local diving club, where you can buy permits for either a day, week or month diving. Dive Clubs are helpful in arranging dive trips to exciting places. Do you not have a diving certificate, it is possible to attend a course lasting one week with daily dives and theory lessons in English.
